Things that KILL ME:

-Everyone and "they mama" Going "Natural" aka "The natural hair movement" -

My Thoughts:

         Being someone that has been natural since birth and Literally never sacrificing my hair for the "Creamy crack" I don't understand all of the hype about this....Be who YOU are ...don't do things because EVERYONE else is doing it...and I'm saying this from personal experience and ...Watching someone close to me Conform to something that I KNOW she isn't...... in her quest -To be something she is not.

          In reading some of the articles on the net from HelloBeautiful.com to Essence.com....... I find it so interesting that so many Women are quickly and unfortunately finding out the hard way that this  Natural Hair thing doesn't work and is not for everybody ..... This whole "BIG CHOP" or "B/C" thing just doenst make sense.... I mean I even went as far as talking to my hair dresser about this sudden "movement"....and after having this talk with my hair dresser and her saying "Everyone thinks they can go natural and Some people just CANT.......Most of them wont survive summer" I found this HILARIOUS .... ME personally I HAAATTEEE summers with natural hair its no fun.......but its ALL I KNOW so therefore I KNOW how to manage it....after all I'm honestly NOT new to THIS but TRUE TO THIS and .... Although I LOVE my thick locks, I also love the flat iron. YES, I know, I know- you have heard so many things about how heat can damage your hair and blah blah blah....... its a fact BUT..... its ALSO dependent on how much HEAT and HOW often you put HEAT on your hair....The same thing goes for coloring, I mean people cannot say Healthy hair is ONLY natural hair with no heat and no flat iron, But then these same people are the ones changing  their hair color every other season... I mean   I'm no expert but don't beat me up for HEATING up my flat iron .....when you are coloring your hair every 3 months!!

Moral of the story being....IF this is something you Truly are into then DO IT by all means, I wish you success on your Natural hair Quest...... BUT! ~~>....Don't Believe or get caught up in the Hype...and DON'T try to keep up with the Joneses .......................... JUST BE YOU!!!. I AM :)
